Split pavement edge, curbline and roadbed where they are above or below a building or other roadbed (e.g., bridge raised roadway). Attribute the feature as above, at grade or below.

For roadbed:

  • split polygons where they are intersected by other structures (e.g., roadbeds, transportation, buildings). In the example below the two roadbed polygons (white) on either side of the skybridge would be separate polygons coded as 'at grade'. The roadbed polygon under the skybridge would be coded as ' below structure'

In the example below (Lincoln tunnel), the tunnel would be coded as 'below grade'
