If we could add a system of unit tests to DRO, it could help reduce the amount of manual testing needed for new features, prevent regression bugs, and help assist cross-system compatibility (given we now support Windows and Linux).

Partially addressed with the introduction of GitHub actions, which compiles DRO for Mac and Linux, and warns if compilation fails.
