I have two wireless controller on a single Microsoft wireless adapter. I've noticed that my Playstation 1 and Gamecubes games will not recognize a second controller unless one is plugged into the USB. Steam and N64 games work fine with both wireless controllers. I wasn't sure if this a XOW issue or an issue on the emulators.

I think it's a problem with the emulators. This issue within RetroArch sounds like the problem you're having:

libretro/RetroArch#2808

I don't know if there's a way to fix it, but thought to post this. Please note I'm just an end-user, not a developer. I hope this helps.
