Network error when v2rayX is not launched

Unable to use the Internet with v2rayX quitted after updating from version 1.2.0 to 1.2.2.
After reverting back to 1.2.0, the problem persisted, and it was resolved by creating and replacing the "Network Location" with default profiles (System Preferences > Network > Location). Therefore I deduce the problem is due to some logic problems of the latest version in altering system's networking behaviour, i.e. proxy routings.

System Information: macOS High Sierra 10.13.6, on iMac (21.5 inch, Late 2013). Hope that will help.
