Something breaks VM creation on Windows under a full moon #21

When some eldritch combination of things we do not yet understand occurs, this line calling free(args.options) barfs on Windows and breaks CellProfiler. Commenting out that line in a local installation returns it to working. A large variety of other things, such as reinstalling Java, reinstalling the C++ redistributables, etc, do NOT return it to working. Spooky.
