Dataset title
The Paleobiology Database

Dataset contact & access
There are two PBDB datasets in ChecklistBank with different content: PaleoBioDB and PBDB. Both are sources for the base COL and the xRelease respectively.
This is confusing as the content in the same group is different:
Trilobita in ds PaleoBioDB has 4615 names (all included in COL)
Trilobita in PBDB has 7516 names (7236 merged in xRelease)

Is it possible to update the former version? To merge both datasets?

Who is the point of contact to discuss access and use of the data?
For PaleoBioDB Matthew Clapham , Mark Uhen [email protected]

For PBDB The Paleobiology Database

Motivation for changing/adding

It is confusing to have two datasets from the same source and might be generating errors and duplicates in the xRelease.
