I am interested in a variety of topics, ranging from star formation to galactic dynamics. I am particularly interested in using both dynamical simulations and observations of stars in the Milky Way and nearby galaxies to gain insight into how galaxies form and evolve. My research work to date includes analyses of the stellar populations of ultra-faint dwarf galaxies, the dynamics of stars in barred galaxies, and preparations for the resolved-star component of the upcoming Subaru Prime Focus Spectrograph survey.
