Some Indication of Popularity/Repute

Despite it being abandonware (Last updated 2011), Wii Backup Manager is one of the most popular tools for managing your Wii DVD backups. It's featured in reputable guides for homebrewing game consoles, including the Wii Hacks Guide (Formerly wii.guide), and a lot of other YouTube tutorials.

The homepage for it is not exactly clear (wiibackupmanager.co.uk is believed to be a third party site, and the site on the about section is dead.) though the download link is trusted as the Wii Hacks Guide, a guide that is generally reputable in the Wii homebrewing community, uses it.

Whenever it's a fairly standard install is debatable. It doesn't follow the former example, however, it hasn't been updated since 2011 anyways.
