  • 问题描述 | Issue description:

When Mos (3.0.0 pre-release) is installed, my "scroll-left" and "scroll-right" buttons (handled for me by Better Touch Tool to swap desktops left and right) are now commandeered by Mos. While this may be useful for some, I find the "joystick"-like left/right scrolling to be completely useless, and as a developer NEED to be able to switch desktops far more than I need smooth scrolling, in any direction.

Oddly, this didn't happen with the crashy earlier Mos versions (2.3.0), and didn't seem to start with Mos 3.0.0 until very recently (although I'm not sure what triggered it as I haven't manually updated Mos since installing 3.0.0 and finding it stable and great).

This is similar to #225 except that the interference happens no matter which order the BTT and Mos apps are started in.

Can we please introduce a preference to NOT capture left and right scrolls?

  • 如何重现 | How to reproduce it:

    • Required Hardware:

      • Any mouse with a "tilt" wheel, like the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S mouse
    • Reproduction Steps:

      1. Install BetterTouchTool (latest version, from folivora.ai)
      2. In Better Touch Tool under "Normal Mouse" configuration, add an action for "Scroll Right" to "Move Right a Space", and one for "Scroll Left" to "Move Left a Space".
      • image
      1. Add an additional space/desktop in Mission Control, or "full screen" any window to introduce a second space.
      2. Verify that the scroll left and scroll right buttons move between spaces
      3. Install and run Mos 3.0.0
  • 期望结果 | What is expected:

    • Tapping the "Scroll Right" button (ie, tilting the wheel to the left) should move from the left space to the one to its right (if there is one), and tapping the "Scroll Left" button (ie, tilting the wheel to the right) should move left one space.
  • 实际结果 | What is actually happening:

    • Nothing, unless there is a window under the mouse which can scroll left/right, in which case it scrolls in an agonizingly slow manner.
  • 软件版本 | Application version:

    • 3.0.0
  • 系统版本 | System version:

    • Mac OS 10.14.6
    • Logitech Mouse MX Anywhere 2S (with the "tilt wheel")
  • 您系统中的其他鼠标管理软件 | Other mouse management application in your system:

    • BetterTouch Tool version 3.207 (1384)
