Currently UI and regression tests are done by running two scripts in the ezid-ops-scripts repo:

  • UI tests: ezid_ui_tests.py
  • regression tests: verify_ezid_after_patching.py

The EZID UI tests script can only be run from a client where the Google Chrome browser is installed.

  1. Modify the UI test script to use headless Chrome so UI tests can be performed from the EZID instances
  2. Combine UI and regression tests into one script
