🐛 [BUG] - Surface Go 3 does not turn off the display #70
Comments
Please visit docs BlissOS.org for project documentation. Read through the "configuration via command line parameters" There is specifically a subsection on parameters you can utilize regarding sleep states and/or power management options. Can also search our official Telegram support channel for "surface sleep" or "surface display" and scroll through the search results to see every time this topic has been mentioned and how fellow users resolved. |
If the above comment does not lead you to a working solution.... Their next option is to capture and share a log of your machine booted up and capturing log while pushing the power button to put it to sleep. This will allow development team to see what is taking place @ code level |
I have tested it, GRUB unfortunately does not save the changes. The display still comes back on immediately. I have updated to 16.9.4 as a test! How can I export the log? |
I faced the same issue on Surface 3 (different device than "Surface Go 3") Device wakes up immediately after going to sleep |
Anyone come up with a solution? Just got Blissos installed on a Surface Pro 3 and it doesn't stay in sleep mode either, it cycles till the battery dies. |
Description
The Surface only switches the display off for a second and then immediately back on again.
