This package is now maintained under the PLUS for Node-RED (P4NR) B2B Community Dual License.

After the merge of a big contribution, to translate the package from JS to TS, we found out too late that all e2e tests were disabled or manipulated to pass.

After we found that, it was too late, released and we decided in Sep. 2022 to bring the package from a side spare-time project to a B2B community project and we developed all new from the ground up based on node-opcua 2.x with a clean input and output structure for the msg objects. The package here named node-red-contribution-iiot-opcua was based on node-opcua version 0.7.

The node-opcua v2.x brought breaking changes and many new and more stable functions. We provide all the new features and a better connectivity, plus 95% code coverage tested state of the OPC UA packages. see our Website with PLUS for Node-RED now.

We invested time since 2022 to provide a very strong and fair licensed B2B Community access to get the very new OPC UA Node-RED package and soon the very new Modbus package and over time more and more like DNP and BACnet.
