When the user script decides not to leave a welcome message, there is an option to force the welcome message anyway. For some time, this used to work.

However, as of a couple weeks ago, it no longer works. Is this a bug caused by an incompatible change to SE?

Reproduced on Microsoft Edge.

The project is currently not being actively maintained by anyone. If you submit a PR, there's a good chance it'll be merged though.
