Installing BeatblockPlus
This page will help you get started with Beatblock modding. You can use mods on itch.io or the Steam version of the game. There are only 2 steps, installing lovely-injector and installing BeatblockPlus.
1) Download lovely-injector, we will use this to inject our mods into the game. You probably used this if you modded Balatro before.
2) In Steam, right-click Beatblock and click "Properties -> Installed Files -> Browse" to open the game's installation folder. If you are using the itch.io version open the game's installation folder.
3) Copy the version.dll file inside lovely-injector to your game directory.
4) Open the game, if a terminal opens with the game that means you've successfully downloaded the injector.
Next, we will install BeatblockPlus.
BeatblockPlus provides utilities for mod developers and an in-game mod menu for users, so it's essential.
1) Download BeatblockPlus
2) Unzip the downloaded zip file inside the %AppData%/Beatblock/Mods folder.
3) Open the game, if you see a "mods" button in the main menu, that means you've successfully downloaded BeatblockPlus.
You are now ready to download and use mods!
If you don't want to use mods anymore you can simply delete the version.dll file and the contents of the %Appdata%/beatblock/Mods folder.
