There is an issue on legion 7i laptops, don't know if on other models as well, that causes a bug when you put the laptop to sleep. The bug itself is high power consumption after waking up from sleep, killing battery life. The ways to fix it are to restart the computer, plug in the AC adaptor or to switch from Hybrid-Auto/IGPU only to Hybrid. The issue seems to get resolved when the dgpu turns on and then off again. So Im not sure if there is a way to do this from the toolkit, I haven't found it. Or if it could get implemented.
Here is a reddit link discussing this issue :

Edit: Managed to fix it using the argument "--experimental-gpu-working-mode" with an "On resume action". So far seems to be working exactly as i needed it.
Don't know if I should leave this open for other people with the same issue to find
