Deployment hangs during Importing Bindings for POP3 adapter when values are empty

I am porting an existing solution in 2013 pre-R3 to BizTalk 2016, and I now put it in BTDF to ease deployment to DEV, TEST and PROD environments. There are about 5 different solutions in same "application"/BTDF solution that I try to port simultaniously.

Since I do not have a development POP3 account at this moment, I left the POP3 adapter settings empty, while trying to deploy solution. But, apparently, the POP3 adapter (or any other adapter?) has some mandatory settings you need to provide.

Issue is that the binding import fails with no error message. It just hangs at:
