Cannot find procedure "run_guiStarter"

If Maya closes unexpectedly, when it's restarted the plugin shelf persists from the previous session but the plugin isn't actually loaded, and when you click the icon you get the following error:

// Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "run_guiStarter". //

The workaround for now is to open the plugin manager and load the AzureBatch plugin. The restart Maya.
This will prompt the plugin to correctly clean up the shelf files.
