Backend

Implement rate-limiting on API endpoints.
Implement data validation and sanitization.
Add a rate-limiting mechanism specifically for ChatGPT API calls to prevent abuse.

Frontend

Add client-side validation on forms.
Implement a user-facing message or alert to indicate when they have hit the rate limit for ChatGPT queries.
