Potentially, but it may be difficult to build in a cross platform way. Both MacOS and Windows support recursion in their native file watcher, whereas linux does not. This would imply that it's very easy to implement in Linux and not easy to implement in MacOS or Windows. I would want the API of NSFW to remain consistent across all platforms if possible.
