Description

I have some podcasts that I've listened to completely but I still enjoy. I've tried sorting episodes in different ways, like A-Z, Z-A, or by length, to get a "random" one and avoid the latest since those are still fresh in my mind. Unfortunately, there aren't many sorting options, so I eventually end up gravitating toward the same episodes.

Pocket Casts recently rolled out the Up Next shuffle feature, which I thought would solve my problem. However, the larger the pool of episodes you want it to choose from, the more of a hassle it becomes. Sure, holding an episode and checking a few doesn’t take long, but when you're dealing with hundreds, because you want to shuffle the entire podcast, it can take a while.

Could you add a simpler way to just press a button and listen to a random episode without any fuss?

It would be great if auto play supported shuffle imo that would be great as that goes off podcast/filter list & gets disrupted by add to upnext,

Long term I want a folder filter pill with an option to go off folder sort order, so podcasts can be grouped in filters & are kind of customisable 🤔🤔
