Check if the argument provided is a Mongoose query

I have the following code:

function x (arg) {
   // ... 
}

I want to check if the variable arg is a mongoose query. How?
I tried the following but everything returns false.

console.log(arg instanceof mongoose.Query ) // false
console.log(Object.getPrototypeOf(arg) == mongoose.Query ) // false
console.log(Object.getPrototypeOf(arg) === mongoose.Query ) // false

It turned out that I was passing the wrong arg while testing, the actual answer is:

console.log(arg instanceof mongoose.Query ) // false
