Though the request is specifically for VS Code, I think this is a duplicate of #56.

Additionally, just for clarification, we can't add LaTeX support to VS Code yet since it's not supported by harper-ls yet, which is what powers the VS Code extension. You can head over to the mentioned issue if you'd like to help in implementing it.
