Before continuing...

  • I agree to follow Atlas' Code of Conduct
  • I have searched our issue tracker to verify that the issue hasn't been reported already
  • I have searched the Atlas documentation beforehand for a solution
  • I am on the latest version of Atlas, and didn't do an unsupported upgrade

Description

Shutting down via the start menu doesn't do anything for ~30 seconds, then shows the black "Shutting down" screen for ~60 seconds before actually shutting down. Boot also seems to take a while. It seems to be related to fast boot, as using the shutdown /s /t 0 command in CMD instantly brings up the black shut down screen and everything turns off within 20 seconds. Fast boot option does not appear in the power settings, and HiberbootEnabled is 0 in regedit.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Click "Shut down" under the start menu
  2. Wait for a long time before fans and power light turn off.

Expected behavior

Shuts down using the start menu in ~20 seconds total like the shutdown /s /t 0 command

Actual behavior

Shut down takes ~90 seconds or longer.

Atlas Version

Atlas v0.4.1 for Windows 11 24H2
