AP should use the DNS settings configured from DHCP. Ideally, NTP as well, but that is more of a wish than is likely possible.

Having dug into this more. The DNS configuration even overrides changes made by the owner when the application updates. The file NetworkManager/conf.d/10-astroprint.conf forces the use of Google DNS. On my network, I force all clients to use my internal DNS servers and only the DNS servers can reach out to the internet. Please fix this.
