How to report issues properly?

(If you are using Firefox 57+, look here: #299 & #365)

1. Is the issue CTR related or not?
(use Portable Firefox for testing, if you are on Windows)

Does the issue occur...

• ...with CTRs default settings? (CTR prefwindow > settings > restore defaults)
• ...on current browser profile, if only CTR is active (disable all other add-ons)?
• ...on a new browser profile with only CTR installed?
• ...on a new browser profile without CTR installed?
• ...with latest CTR beta?

2. Hit "new issue" button on this page or hit "issues" and then hit "new issue" button.

• you must be signed into Github to be able to report an issue

3. Add a proper issue title.

If it only happens...

• ...on a specific OS, also add [Win], [Lin] or [macOS] to the title.
• ...on a specific browser version, also add [Fx 'version number'] to the title, e.g. [Fx51]
• ...on a specific OS theme, also add [OS theme name] to the title, e.g. [Aero Glass], [Classic]
• ...with a specific browser theme, also add [browser theme name] to the title

4. Post a screenshot of your browser window and point to the issue on it.

• Attach screenshot to your post OR
• Post a link to an uploaded screenshot (Imgur, Tinypic, Dropbox etc.)

5. Describe the issue

• what should or should not happen
• what does happen

6. Post your configuration

• OS / OS version / OS theme
• browser (default Firefox or a fork)
• browser version (default, beta, developer/Aurora, Nightly) and number
• browser theme (default theme, complete theme, developer theme, lw-theme)
• other add-ons (if you determine which cause conflicts with CTR)

7. Attach CTR configuration file
(CTR prefwindow > settings > export preferences)

• Post a link to uploaded file (Pastebin, Dropbox, OCH...)
