I have encountered this issue as well by following these steps in the desktop version:

  1. Create a new workspace.
  2. Create a new page or open an existing one.
  3. Change the page's icon by selecting one from the Icons tab.
  4. Open the same workspace/page in web, an error should appear.

The web version no longer faces this issue in any of these scenarios:

  • Icons of all pages in that workspace are only emojis.
  • Changing the icon to one from Icons tab through the web version.

I'm having the same bug on mac when I publish a page on the web (free account created on https://appflowy.io). The page is edited on the mac Desktop app, published, and generates an error when the published web page is accessed.

Thank you for your feedback. We have fixed it and incorporated it into the next version, which will be deployed before tomorrow. Subsequent web issues can be fed back to this repository. Thank you.
