Flatpak support - please give feedback

I would like to ask you for feedback of the recently added welle.io Flatpak support.

Where to get the Flatpak?

• Release page: https://github.com/AlbrechtL/welle.io/releases (beginning with version 2.6)
• Nightly builds https://welle-io-nightlies.albrechtloh.de/

How to install it?
Run flatpak --user install <date_githash>_Linux_welle-io-x86_64.flatpak on your system.

Do you plan to publish welle.io at Flathub?
Yes, depending on the feedback here.

Maybe you also should add how to start the application afterwards. As I am new to flatpak, I had to search for the correct command, which is

flatpak run io.welle.welle_io 

It's tricky as the application name sadly does not start with w, so the TAB key will only help you when you have not entered any letter.

Hi,

I'm trying to get welle.io into the flathub (submission flathub/flathub#6274).

It would be really nice if you could test the first flathub build
flatpak install --user https://dl.flathub.org/build-repo/169810/io.welle.welle-gui.flatpakref

Just tested the flathub version from the link above.

The ensemble name for the same SID works now.

Due to a hardware failure with my amplifier I currently cannot test the same mux on 2 different channels, so I have no idea what the selection box will show in such a case.

i am on a steam deck and i even can send dab, but not receiving with welle...

I think this is a key error message Info: SoapySDR: No usable SDR device found. But since I don't have a HackRF I cannot test it - sorry. What you can do is to dig into the SoapySDR driver and try to find the issue.

The hackrf isn't the problem. On Ubuntu 22 on different laptop it works great, just not on steam deck with steam os. And sending stuff is working, so can't be hackrf problem.
