Has there been consideration for Aider integrating / leveraging VectorCode or similar to improve upon repo mapping concept?

In the Neovim world VectorCode (https://github.com/Davidyz/VectorCode) has become pretty popular with many of the AI plugins as a way to index a codebase. Curious if it (or similar) has been considered to be able to integrate with Aider for improving the accuracy and relevance of the repo map and context sent to LLMs?
