Is it possible to feed/push selected publications from other DSpace repositories into a new database?

it might be useful to have our own test sandbox installations of possible preprint software, to explore the features and workflow and compare them...I can help with setting this up if there is an interest ?

I will try to setup the open preprint server from PKP as a start on some server space that I have anyways. We can then use this to explore the software's functionality and see if it's a good option.

I will also look into the DSpace and pubsweet options.

will update this issue again when I have made some progress
