Is there a mySQL or MODX tool which can be used to compare the site speed with and without this plugin?

Whats the best way to test the performance boost?

This is something I need to do and write up in more detail. The main point of this method of caching isn't to be a performance boost - but to give more reliability and flexibility for hosting.
