My Commands Practice Tool

Welcome to the My Commands Practice Tool! This tool is designed to help you improve your typing speed and accuracy by practicing various sets of commands related to DevOps, Ethical Hacking, and basic terminal commands.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.x
  • Ensure the required command files (devops_commands.txt, ethical_hacking_commands.txt, basic_commands_*.txt) are available in your project directory.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/AashooSharmaTech/my_commands_tool.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    cd my_commands_tool
  3. Run the tool:

    python3 main.py

Usage

  1. Choose the type of commands you want to practice from the main menu.

  2. Select the difficulty level, such as 10, 30, or 50 commands practice.

  3. Start practicing by typing the displayed commands.

  4. After finishing a practice session, enter your name to log your score on the leaderboard.

Leaderboard

You can check your progress and compare your scores with other users on the leaderboard. The leaderboard is sorted by the highest scores and the lowest total time taken.
