Random freeze #1
Comments
I've got same issue. |
I have really same problem ı could not solved did you find reall solving |
Try to loose the fixing screws of display. |
This is probably a bit late to the party but I had the same issues plus the odd beeping caused by interference through the ribbon cables, did the whole foil wrap which lasted about a year or so then the random lock-up, tried new power supply but that made it worse, bough new longer ribbon cables to move the screen away from the printer but just fitting the new cables fixed the issue. IT WAS THE RIBBON CABLES ALL ALONG!! This probably explains why only some people have this issue. (my 2 cents) |
Aha... I've been getting these freezes recently too. Bad/loose display cable makes sense. I have also had corruption on the display in the past, so really I should have been able to work that out all on my own. 🤦 |
The printer randomly freezes up during prints.
Its so random its hard to figure out exactly where the problem is. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes it can be after 1 hour.
The longest i have been able to print so far is 3 hours.
I am yet to finish a print that is larger than 5cm in height.
Symptoms: All the fans stops. The display and button is frozen and completely unresponsive.
Only thing to do is to kill the power, and when i do, it won't let me recover the print, so its all a waste.
I have tried 3 different slicing software without any different results.
Im using the latest firmware available on GitHub.
