I have built Slicer/Slicer@2578be8. On Ubuntu 21.04 it builds flawlessly and #38 seems to work fine. On more modern distributions there are a few tweaks to do to make it build (Slicer/Slicer#6100, Slicer/Slicer#6135). But they should be fixed quite soon. |

Slicer is on its way to Slicer 5 that should be released soon. The two major changes are an upgrade to python 3.9 and an upgrade to VTK 9.1.0. Should we update the images @ALive-research/alive-software on each version bump, as well as for Slicer5 release? Python, especially, could imply changes on syntax.
The new release model for Slicer, after Slicer 5, will be quarterly.
