[BUG] Clicking on the background does not reset the selected state of any selected files

Bug Description

When on Course Editor, the user must be able to deselect the whole level item selection by clicking on the background; however this is not the case and the level selection persists.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select any level in the Course Editor
2. Click background

Expected behavior

The user must be able to deselect the level selection by clicking on the background.
