Description
I get underruns (audio clicks) all the time for each 1-2seconds when Audio Buffer is set to small (no matter if I play simple *.mod or complicated *.XM)
Win10, i7-2600K, 16GB RAM, Z77, Realtek integrated audio. And during module playing, I see in Task Manager, CPU at only 3% load.
In FT2 settings, I saw Small buffer as default one (but Medium has a word "default" on it) I didn't touch any other settings.
Even with No Interpolation, 16bit, 44100, Linear - it is the same issue.
So I have two suggestions:
-Please force Medium as default setting for all new users.
OR
slightly increase buffer on Small settings, I think just a little bit will be enough
btw.
Maybe you have newest/stronger PC with better Audio "card". I remember the experience on newest motherboard with 400/600/700 chipsets, where Realtek audio codec has huge audio buffer, which gave huge latency delay comparing to older PC. So maybe it is the reason that Small settings is okay at newest Motherboards but not ok, on the older ones.
