Support removing signatures when switching to identities without a signature assigned #57

Hi,

First of all, thank you for the excellent software you shared with us! I have just one minor issue or perhaps a feature request.

I have work e-mail accounts (a.k.a. identities) and private accounts. All my work accounts have (separate) signatures and switching between them on the fly works wonderfully. However, I rarely use a formal signature block in messages sent from with my private accounts, so I do not have any signatures assigned to them in the extension configuration at all. But when switching identity with a message originally created under (one of) my work identities to a private one, the signature just changes to a default one instead of being removed completely, which I would consider the expected behavior. At the same time Signature Switch button at this point is stuck in "off" position, meaning I have to click on it twice to actually remove the signature. Not sure how many users might be using a similar configuration but I find this bug rather annoying, especially considering how super useful and easy to use rest of the features are.

Best,
Ivan

Hi there,
sorry for answering that late. 😄
I'm closing this issue for now, since it is pretty old (and a lot of updates/versions of the add-on have been released in the meantime).
Please report back, if the issue still exists.
Thanks.
