There are two 2FAs for Universitat de Barcelona:

  1. Portal 2FA (VPNTècnic) (to access student records, modify personal data, VPN, signing certificates, etc) - this is administered by Universitat de Barcelona.
    Universitat de Barcelona uses TOTP to authenticate.

  2. Núvol UB 2FA (MS 365) (to access student email, calendar, drive, etc) - this is administered by Microsoft.
    Microsoft uses TOTP, SMS and/or phone calls to authenticate.
