Hi! I recently discovered this site and got the server up and running. The trouble is, I can't seem to use RSC Plus client. which threw an error involving a packet, do you know a way around to get it working?

Additionally, I'd like to mention that I managed to set up a web client, however, it just ended up simply showing the index site of the files with an expectation of clicking HTML with just the client, nothing else. What is causing this, & do you know a way around fixing this?

I am not certain that froggy supported the mudclient235 network protocol which rscplus uses. If I recall this server makes use of the mudclient204 network protocol.

I cant make sense of the second question, mind rephrasing?

Hi, I'm sorry for the late response.

Ahh, okay. Do you think that it'd make sense to switch network protocol to mudclient204? I personally like RSCPlus and its features. If it's not doable around a way for it, then I understand.

I cant make sense of the second question, mind rephrasing?

Sure. Basically, I decided that I wanted to give a shot to run the web client version of this source to mess around with it. The site is showing an HTML index files directory when it's running, but if I go into index.html, it'll show up with a black background with just the client on it. I feel that I'm doing something improperly with it as I'm following the guides described in readme on its repository - am I overlooking something else?

Well to migrate this server to mc235 protocol would be a pretty involved process. The majority of the changes are minor but the parts that arent are undocumented mostly and painful to port. I recently ported rscgo to support both and it can get pretty involved for things like chat to work. This would be true whether making a 235 client connect to a 204 server or a 204 client connecting to a 235 server. If i find some time i will definitely attempt to help out in making this server support rscplus for ya. If you feel like digging through my RSCGo commit history youll find the major things that must be altered in a porting such as youve described.

The site that comes with rsc-client i dont think was ever really a full working website? I could be wrong has been some time since i worked on rsc projects but it is just a working client i think and a website is left sorta as an excersize for the end user.
