Add rename session picker name and sort by project folder

It would be great if you could rename each session with a permanent, custom name. However, you should still retain the current options if you don't change them or leave them blank.

The current session picker is a bit confusing. What if we could add a folder-based option? For example:

/path/project1

• session project1-1
• session project1-2
• session project1-3
• more project1-session
  /path/project2
• session project2-1
• session project2-2
• session project2-3
• more project2-session

This would make it easier for users to identify their projects, and the selection experience would be better.

Thanks, two good ideas here. Both are product decisions rather than clear bugs, so leaving them for the maintainer rather than acting autonomously:

• Custom permanent session names: needs a storage decision (where the name lives, and how rename interacts with resumed external sessions from Claude Code / Codex / opencode).
• Folder grouping in the picker: sensible default, but it changes the picker's sort and keyboard navigation model, which also affects the search and recency ordering.

Marked needs-decision so it is tracked.
