First draft of FRTP released

So I finally managed to write some XML based on my notes; you can thus find the first draft of FRTP (flexible resource transport protocol) here.

Comments or suggestions anyone? :)

Why so many fixed sizes?

UPDATE: Nevermind, I read the whole thing now.

By the way, if the string draft changes (or gets rejected), I'll change strings to fixed-length cstrings... so this is yet another thing depending on string format, we should get that done rather quickly, I suppose :)

Actually: If they're fixed-length, why include the length at all?

For consistency; so you can use the standard string functions and code for these too...
